Awareness Campaign for Northern Syria

JUNE 2025

An integrated visual campaign designed to highlight the importance of the humanitarian "Hotline" service. We transformed complex procedures into a relatable animated journey to help citizens access support and report concerns safely.

THE CONCEPT

The challenge was to bridge the gap between humanitarian services and the people who need them most in crisis zones. We created a narrative that mirrors the daily reality of Northern Syria, ensuring every citizen knows that their voice is heard and their safety is a priority.

Script & Voice Over: Crafting a humanitarian message with a tone that balances empathy and professionalism. The vocal performance was key to conveying the 'Safe Line' essence.

Character Design: Not just drawings, but reflections of the community. From aid workers to the elderly and children, each character was designed to build trust and authenticity.

Character Design:

Storyboard & Animatic: Planning every camera movement and emotional beat before production to ensure the storytelling perfectly aligns with the message's timing.

Backgrounds: Using Adobe Photoshop to create a visual contrast between the harsh reality of camp life and the organized, safe environment of the complaint center.

Beyond the video, we created a custom WhatsApp Sticker pack for the UNFPA team. This small addition significantly enhanced their daily communication with beneficiaries, making the humanitarian interaction more personal and accessible.
